A Very talented student ‘Siobhan Webster’ from Dumfries but currently studying at Oxford , Contacted DGWGO to ask if we could help get the local community to fill in her survey , that she is doing as part of her Uni Course !
“Hello! My name is Siobhan and I’m currently studying for my MSc in Primate Conservation at Oxford Brookes University. I moved to Dumfries when I was 9, and attended school at St. Andrew’s and St. Joseph’s. I’ve also been a volunteer with Mossburn Community Farm, in Lockerbie from the age of 12, and I run the Facebook page now that I’m not around very often! I’m hoping the people of D&G can help me out with a survey I’m carrying out as part of my final project!
My project is looking at perceptions of animal cruelty on social media sites, especially relating to exotic pets, and how reporting mechanisms and policies can be improved. I would really appreciate if you could spare 5 minutes to take the survey, and please do share it with your friends! I’m looking for a wide range of people to take it, so you don’t have to be particularly interested in animals, and there are no restrictions other than I can’t accept responses from under 16s.
