Dumfries And Galloway General Election Results 2017

A snap general election took place on Thursday 8 June. The vote count for the UK Parliamentary Election to elect a Member of Parliament for Dumfries and Galloway County Constituency and Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale County Constituency were held in Easterbrook Hall, Dumfries over night 8/9 June 2017 the  are as follows:

Dumfries and Galloway County Constituency:

• Richard Arkless – Scottish National Party (SNP) – 16,701
• Daniel Goodare – Scottish Labour Party – 10,775
• Yen Hongmei Jin – 538
• Alister Jack – Scottish Conservative and Unionist – 22,344
• Joan Mitchell – Scottish Liberal Democrats – 1,241
Alister Jack (Conservative) has been elected as MP for the Dumfries and Galloway County Constituency

Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale County Constituency:
• Douglas Beattie – Scottish Labour Party – 8,102
• John Ferry – Scottish Liberal Democrats – 1,949
• Mairi McAllan – Scottish National Party (SNP) – 14,736
• David Gordon Mundell – Scottish Conservative and Unionist – 24,177
David Gordon Mundell (Conservative) has been elected as MP for the Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale County Constituency.
