£500 Generator Stolen From Garage – Collin

Police Scotland officers have been carrying out door to door enquiries in Collin following a break-in at a garage at a house in Braehead Avenue in the village of Collin, Dumfries and Galloway. The break-in happened sometime overnight Tuesday 31 January/Wednesday 1 February 2017. A red coloured Honda make wheeled generator worth about £500 has been stolen in the raid.

Constable Anthony Cropley at Dumfries said “whilst the generator was on wheels it does appear that a vehicle must have been used to take it away from the scene. We want to hear from anyone in the village who might have seen or heard anything suspicious either last might or early this morning. Information can be passed to us through the 101 number, or if they want to remain anonymous then through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
