Hadrian’s Wall Challenge For Local Charity

Mum, charity trustee and all-round dynamo Fee Biddlecombe-Hall from Moffat, Dumfries and Galloway is about to pull on her walking boots for a very special fundraising challenge.
Fee will be heading south this week to walk the length of Hadrian’s Wall to raise funds for local refugee charity Massive Outpouring of Love (MOOL).

“As a Mum with young kids, the idea of being displaced and afraid with no framework in place to help us is terrifying. I am taking part in the Hadrian’s Wall Walk to literally try to walk in their shoes.”
As the charity’s treasurer and one of their most committed volunteers, Fee has been working hard behind the scenes since the group was formed in October 2015 in response to the Syrian refugee crisis. This week she’s taking a break from the charity’s depot and putting her best foot forward to raise much needed funds for the organisation.
The charity secured SCIO status in February 2016 and has recently held its first AGM. MOOL helps to support refugees and displaced persons, as well as assisting other vulnerable groups within the local community.
