POLICE Report that a wall has been badly damaged in a hit and run crash which happened in Langlands Court in Ecclefechan.
Sometime between 8.30am and 5.30pm yesterday (Wednesday) the garden wall appears to have been struck by what appears to have been a large vehicle.
A lorry was seen in the area around 5pm. Constable Bob Dickson is looking for witnesses and says “the wall could cost thousands of pounds to repair. Anyone with any information should call me at Lockerbie on the 101 number.”
