Police Scotland report the arrest a 56 year old man in relation to the incident of inappropriate behaviour reported on the Dumfries to Castle Douglas 501 service bus on Sunday 12 February 2017.
It was reported earlier in the week that the man had touched and spoken to a 16 year old girl inappropriately. A police appeal for witnesses and information lead to the arrest.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
