Injured Sledger Rescued Near Moffat

Volunteers from Moffat Mountain rescue team were involved in the rescue of a sledger who had come off his sledge on a hill near Moffat on Sunday afternoon 3rd January 2021.
The team was called by Dumfries Galloway Police Division to assist Scottish Ambulance Service and a Doctor from BASICS Scotland to evacuate the injured sledger who had come off his sledge near Moffat and dislocated his knee.
A Spokesperson from MMRT Told DGWGO News “The team loaded the casualty who was already on a spinal board onto the teams Titan stretcher and the team and ambulance personnel carried him to the waiting ambulance.
We wish the casualty a speed recovery”
