Major Online Event For Scotland’s Senior Pupils

18 Scottish universities and colleges will host a virtual event for senior phase pupils along with Skills Development Scotland (SDS) and the Students Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS).

The event is aimed at young people who are considering going into further and higher education.

The new virtual Scottish Education Exhibition is the first education event of this academic year and will feature 14 Scottish universities and four colleges, alongside SDS and SAAS.
It will give pupils the opportunity to speak with representatives from each institution as well as join live webinars on alternative routes to higher education, understanding entry requirements, personal statements, Scottish finance and Graduate Apprenticeships.
The event will also feature an information session specifically for parents and carers.
The virtual event is on Thursday 9 September 2021 from 10am – 7pm.

Calum Fraser, Senior Student Recruitment Officer at the University of Dundee said: “The Scottish Education Exhibition has been designed to give senior phase pupils across the country the chance to speak to a number of Scottish universities and colleges in one place.
‘We’re contacting schools about the event and encouraging them to set aside time to enable pupils to join, but we recognise that parents and carers have an influencing role, so we’re keen to see a healthy number of sign-ups from this group too.”
