POLICE officers in Dumfries are investigating after a 27-year-old man was struck by a youth with a hammer outside McDonald’s on Lochside Road in Dumfries.
The incident occurred around 7:45 pm on Wednesday 9th January after the man became involved in a confrontation with a group of approximately 10 youths, aged around 16, outside the premises.
Police are keen to speak to a male youth described as around 5ft 7, skinny build, really short dark hair, spotty complexion, dark hooded top, dark tracksuit bottoms and Nike Air trainers.
The man was not injured as a result of this assault.
