POLICE in Moffat are investigating after a house on Old Carlisle Road in the town was broken into and a number of items stolen. The theft occurred sometime between 1 PM and 10 PM on Saturday 2nd February 2019.
Constable Philippa Leslie said “It appears those responsible have stolen cash, jewellery and clothing and we would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area of Old Carlisle Road in Moffat on Saturday Afternoon / Evening. Anyone who can help, should contact Police Scotland on the 101 number.
