Motorcyclist Injured In A711 Collision With Tractor & Trailer

 

 

Police Scotland report that around 1750 hours on Wednesday 8 June 2016 a two vehicle road traffic collision happened on the A711 road near to Netherfield Farm, Dumfries, involving a motorcycle and tractor and trailer.

A Suzuki GSX650 motorcycle was being driven by a 55 year old man from Elgin who was taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary with internal injuries and a fractured arm.  The 29 year old male tractor driver from Lochanhead was not injured in the crash.

Police Scotland are keen to hear from anyone who may have been on the road at this time to get in touch if they witnessed the crash or indeed either vehicle just prior to the crash.
