Official Cases Of Covid-19 Reach Double Figures In Dumfries & Galloway

The Number of official cases of Coronavirus in Dumfries and Galloway has now increased to 10, with 322 cases in total in the whole of Scotland.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) was first identified in December 2019.

The first case of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Scotland was confirmed in March 2020.

Scottish test numbers: 20 March 2020

A total of 7550 Scottish tests have concluded. Of these:

  • 7228 tests were confirmed negative
  • 322 tests were positive
  • 6 patients who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) have died
