Official Covid-19 Cases Increase To 18 In Dumfries & Galloway

The Official number of Cases of Covid-19 in Dumfries and Galloway on March 23rd 2020 has increased by two (In the last 24hrs) to 18 in total. With 499 positive cases across the whole of Scotland and 14 now dead. 

Coronavirus (COVID-19) was first identified in December 2019.

The first case of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Scotland was confirmed in March 2020.

A total of 9364 Scottish tests have concluded. Of these:

  • 8865 tests were confirmed negative
  • 499 tests were positive
  • 14 patients who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) have died
