At the end of last year Marine Scotland issued a consultation document proposing 17 possible sites for off-shore wind farm developments around the coast of Scotland.
One of the proposals known as SW1 is located off the southern tip of the Machars and Rhins peninsulas just outside Luce Bay,Dumfries and Galloway in the outer Solway Firth.
Local residents and visitors to the Machars and Rhins penninsulas are being asked to give Marine Scotland their thoughts on the proposed development option before consultation closes on 25 March 2020.
