Police Investigate Attempted Break-ins At Two Lockerbie Chemists

POLICE Officers in Lockerbie are investigating two attempted break-ins to chemist shops in the town. Sometime late on Monday evening 19 March, or in the early hours of Tuesday morning 20 March 2018, the premises at Well Pharmacy and Dalston Pharmacy in the High Street were the subject of attempts to break into them. Whilst no entry was gained, the damage was caused to the fabric of both premises.

Detective Sergeant Paul Steele said “we are carrying out door to door enquiries and reviewing CCTV footage in the town. At this stage, we want to trace two males, in their early 20s, both slim build and wearing hooded tops. These two were seen around the town centre area around 1220am and may be able to help us with our enquiries. I would urge anyone who may have been in or around the town centre in Lockerbie either late Monday evening or early Tuesday morning to get in touch with us if they saw or heard anything suspicious. Callers can reach us on the 101 number at Lockerbie, and should quote the reference number PDG0057140318.”
