Police Describe Swastika Graffiti In Lockerbie As “Disgusting Act”

Officers in Lockerbie are currently investigating a spate of vandalism which has taken place around McConechy’s garage in the town. Sometime between 1430 hours on Sunday 12 and 0730 hours on Monday 13 November 2017 a number of Swastika symbols have been painted on vehicles at the garage and on the wall of the nearby butcher’s shop.

Constable David Noble at Lockerbie said “we are currently carrying out door to door enquires into this crime and we appeal to anyone in the community who may have any knowledge as to who is responsible for this disgusting act at this time of remembrance and reflection in our community, to get in touch with us at Lockerbie on the 101 number.
