Dumfries and Galloway Police Division have been made aware of this email scam currently circulating.
A Police spokesperson stated “There are no limits to what scammers will do to get your personal information !it is a fake so do not follow the links.
If you have provided personal info via a link in a message of this sort, contact the police via 101.

Be aware an unsolicited telephone call, email or text message may not be from the person or organisation it appears to be from. Never click on a link in a message you’re not expecting, and remember NHS Scotland will never ask you for money relating to the COVID-19 pandemic.”
