Shocking dashcam footage of two girls walking across the A75 at Collin in Dumfries and Galloway right in front of cars that went viral on Facebook and Youtube at the weekend has lead to a warning from Police Scotland.
Sergeant Jonny Edgar of the local Roads Policing Unit said “The footage shows the two girls having absolutely no regard for either their own safety or that of the car drivers involved. This behaviour can only be described as extremely dangerous and it is by good fortune alone that someone hasn’t been seriously injured or worse. I would encourage anyone witnessing behaviour like this to contact Police Scotland immediately”.
