About 3pm on 27 June 2021 the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service along with Dumfries Community Officers attended to a report of a fire at the play park on Lochside Road in Dumfries.
On arrival the astro turf was well alight & was extinguished by the Fire Service.
A police spokesperson said “Were you in the area at the time? Did you see those responsible or anyone running away?
We are looking for any with any information about the fire, witnesses or those with dashcam to contact Dumfries Community Policing Unit on 101.”
