Police Probe Pub Scrap Theft – Dumfries

Police officers in Dumfries are investigating another break-in to the premises which were formerly The Stakeford Arms in College Street Dumfries. Sometime between Saturday 17 and Monday 19 December 2016 the premises were broken into and scrap lead and copper pipes were stolen, with a value of around £600.

Constable Susan Kerr at Dumfries said “this is the second recent break-in to these premises which are currently being redeveloped. We want to hear from anyone who might have seen or heard anything suspicious over the weekend around the College Street area to get in touch with us on the 101 number.
