POLICE Officers from Newton Stewart are appealing for witnesses / information in relation to an incident which occurred near to Garlieston Caravan Park on Friday 13th May 2022.

A police spokesperson said “At about 10am in the morning, an unidentified male walking a spaniel dog has approached another male whereby he has verbally abused the male and made racial comments.

The male is described as being white, approximately 6ft 2, slim build in his mid to late 40s. At the time of the incident the male was wearing a light grey sweatshirt, blue jeans and was smoking a vape.
