Between 1700 and 1800 hours on Monday 23rd August 2021, a high value theft occurred at a dwelling house in Broadstone Road, Stranraer.
A group of 4-5 young males thought to be in their late teens wearing dark coloured tracksuits and masks were observed at the locus address within the garden and Police would like to speak with these individuals in relation to the theft. Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen this group of young men in the Broadstone area of the town or indeed anywhere else about Stranraer and in particular, if they were seen getting in or out of a vehicle.

Police in Stranraer would also like to remind residents to be vigilant around their home security. If leaving the house to go on holiday for a few days, please consider telling your neighbours and asking them to keep an eye on the premises in your absence. We would also strongly advise residents to consider investing in some basic low cost home security such as video door bells as these can be a great deterrent to would be thieves.
