Queen of the South Supporters Praised For Their Friendly Banter

Around 400 Queens fans made the trip north on Sunday to Pittodrie for the William Hill Scottish Cup tie and the SLO Committee have been asked by the East End Social Club in Aberdeen to pass on their thanks to those who visited on route to the ground.

Buses from the Doonhamers Travel Club and the Devorgilla Doonhamers plus other Queens fans popped in pre-match and have been praised for their “friendly banter”.  There was also a special mention for the Young Team who were complimented for their “excellent behaviour”.

In return the Queens supporters also asked to pass on their compliments to the stewards who they found excellent, very friendly and helpful.

So despite the end result it was a great day out and the hospitality and welcome received was much appreciated by those from the club and supporters who had made the journey.
