Road Traffic Collision – A75 Annan

Police Scotland is appealing for witnesses to a two vehicle road traffic collision which happened on the A75 road at its junction with the slip road leading to the B6357 road (eastern Annan bypass junction) at around 1630 hours on Monday 24 October 2016. The vehicles involved were a grey coloured Seat Ibiza car being driven by a 77 year old man from Kirkpatrick Fleming and a grey coloured Landrover Freelander being driven by a 30 year old female from Annan. As a result both vehicles were damaged and the driver of the Seat car and his passenger, a 52 year old man from Kirkpatrick Fleming were taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary where they were treated for bruising and cracked ribs. Neither the driver nor any of the three occupants in the Landrover were injured.

Constable Ryan McGarvey said “we are keen to hear from anyone who may have been at or near this junction on the A75 when the crash happened and would like them to get in touch with us through 101 if they witnessed what happened.”
