Dumfries Police Go Quackers While Saving Baby Ducklings

Yesterday during the May day bank holiday, Monday 1st of May 2017 Dumfries Police had to go beyond the call of duty and help save some little ducklings that had become separated from there mother while trying to reach the river Nith that runs through the town.

These Mallard ducklings & their mother were traced in Dumfries Town Centre by Dumfries Community Officers.

A police spokesperson said “The case was easily quacked & the ducklings were apprehended, taken with their mother & returned to the water!

All in a days work for Dumfries Community Officers!”

It reminded us at of a story we shared a couple of years ago about Ducks stopping all the traffic in bank street. Full story HERE
