Thieves Runaway with £250,000 Worth of Trainers from Lockerbie Truck Stop

POLICE in Lockerbie are appealing for information after a large heavy goods lorry was broken into in Lockerbie.
Around 4.50am on Wednesday, 17 August, 2022, police were made aware that a number of pallets containing training shoes had been stolen from a lorry parked up at Lockerbie Truckstop, near Johnstonebridge.
No-one was injured but the goods stolen are estimated to be worth approximately £250,000.
Detective Inspector Graeme Robertson, Dumfries CID said: “We are appealing to other lorry drivers who were at that location for any information they may have. In particular, if anyone has dash cam, I would ask them to check the footage as it may have captured images which could assist our investigation. If anyone has any information, please get in touch with officers.”
