Three Walkers Rescued From Cairnsmore Of Fleet

Galloway Mountain Rescue Team were called out by Police Scotland on Saturday the 23rd of Februray 2019 after three walkers reported becoming lost in the mist on Cairnsmore of Fleet near Newton Stewart.

The walkers were found by the Volunteers from Galloway mountain rescue team and escorted to safety after around four hours stuck on the hill.

A spokesperson for the police stated “The three hill walkers were cold and tired but uninjured.”
