Ward 14 is now open at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary following an outbreak of gastroenteritis. Annan Hospital reopened earlier this week
The Board’s Infection Control Team today confirmed that the Ward is open to admissions, transfers and routine visiting.
Elaine Ross, Infection Control Manager said:
“I would like to thank all those who have worked incredibly hard to continue to provide care, contain the spread of the virus and undertake cleaning required to get the ward safely functioning as quickly as possible. The domestic services staff have been exceptional and there has a been a real sense of team work with all staff involved.”
