The Lord Lieutenant of Wigtown, John Ross, has nominated two people to attend a Royal Wedding celebration event at Windsor Castle.
The wedding of HRH Prince Henry of Wales and Ms Megan Markle will take place in Windsor on Saturday 19 May 2018.
Victoria Adams and Kathleen McIntyre will join 1,200 invited members of the public in the grounds of Windsor Castle to see wedding guests arrive, watch a live broadcast of the service, and witness the departure of the bride and groom in a carriage procession.
Victoria Adams ( main Image) has represented Scotland at curling and was part of the team that won the World Championship in 2013 and the European Championship in 2011 and 2017. She was part of the British team that won the bronze medal at the 2014 Olympics and was 4th in 2018.
Kathleen McIntyre is manager of West Galloway Cancer Drop-in Centres. Established in 1998, they are an information source for people with cancer, their families, friends and carers. They also offer services such as acupuncture, massage, wig fitting, yoga and walking.
