Bunbury Banter Theatre Company Tour Region With ‘Words Live’

Words Live is a celebration of gratitude from award-winning theatre company Bunbury Banter, showing across Dumfries and Galloway at The Stove Network and CatSrand this August.

Heart-warming, meditative and inclusive. Words Live is a reading of thank you letters from then and now, curated from the archives of the Dumfries Museum and through submissions by people across Dumfries & Galloway, including those written especially for this event. Bringing together the words and lives of over a century and a half of Dumfries & Galloway residents, Words Live is a testament to magic of language and the enduring impact of giving thanks.

This collection of letters will take centre stage as the company bring them to life in a concert of voices; creating a space that brims with joy, laughter and the meaning found in sharing our gratitude together. This event will envelop audiences in the kindness of words.

Words Live is a project supported by the Dumfries & Galloway Unlimited Fund and the Dumfries and Galloway Council.
