Glasgow based TV production company Tern TV are currently producing a new series for the BBC that aims to bring 21st century singletons together through the power of song and they thought readers of Dumfries and Galloway What’s Going on might be interested in finding out a bit more.
A generation that “likes” and “swipes” before meeting people now envies the good old days of dating. So, we’re turning back the clock to help people date the old-fashioned way with the ultimate ice-breaker – singing.
A spokesperson from Tern TV told DGWGO Entertainment News “We will be recruiting 150 to 200 singletons based all over Scotland of any gender, sexuality and background who love singing and are curious in finding a partner the old-fashioned way, where anything is possible and personality and spontaneity – not profiles or pokes – determine who they end up with.
This is a fun and quirky dating show with a twist and you do not have to be a professional singer, just the confidence and passion for belting out ballads on stage. Not only is there a chance of leaving with a date at the end of the night but the opportunity to showcase talent and singing ability to the entire country.”
