Masterchef: The Professionals Winner Gary Maclean To Headline Castle Douglas Harvest Food Festival

Gary MacLean will be the headline chef for Castle Douglas Harvest Food Festival which takes place over Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September in the town.

The Harvest food festival aims to showcase the wonderful array of food and drink available in Scotland whilst celebrating the towns vibrant independent High Street.

Gary’s demonstration will be the culmination of a weekend which sees the regions food town host workshops, a drinks festival, wine tastings, producers stalls, children’s entertainment and live music.

Gary said: “I am delighted to be attending Castle Douglas Harvest Food Festival with a demo showcasing local produce. Castle Douglas is a fantastic town for food and drink with a great hub and thriving high street. I can’t wait to demo this produce and share hints and tips with those attending the festival.”

Tickets for the festival are £5 for the weekend which includes all demonstrations. Drinks festival tickets are £10 and include festival admission and admission to Sunday’s walk in wine tasting at the fabulous Bottle list in Mr Pook’s on King Street.
