Priced at £5, the Cheesealicious Easter Egg is made entirely from irresistible cheddar cheese and even comes with oatcakes and chutney so customers can enjoy the flavour to the fullest.
Cheese-lovers nationwide can rejoice this Easter, as Sainsbury’s has announced it will be stocking a giant egg made entirely from creamy cheddar cheese for the very first time.
Available to purchase in Sainsbury’s stores from 10th April, the Cheesalicious Easter Egg is the perfect alternative Easter gift for those who favour savoury over sweet.
Made from delicious cheddar using the finest milk from UK farms, the ‘cheester’ egg makes a show-stopping cheeseboard centre piece for the family to enjoy following Easter lunch.
The smooth and soft texture of the egg is perfect for generously spreading onto an oatcake and pairing with some tasty chutney, both of which come included within the gift pack, so customers can make the most of the “eggcellent” flavour. Alternatively, those with a more no-nonsense approach can simply slice away pieces of the cheese egg and tuck straight in.
