The public’s Royal Highland Show knowledge is set to be put to the test this Friday (19 June 2020) in a family-friendly virtual quiz hosted by Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) and the Scottish Association of Young Farmers (SAYFC).

Quiz master Bryan Burnett, presenter on BBC Radio Scotland, and Robert Dykes, past young farmer, will host the quiz on the Friday 19 June 2020 at 7pm via the QMS, SAYFC and Royal Highland Show social channels.

For many the Royal Highland Show is an important annual social event so, as part of their Virtual Highland 2020 activities, QMS and SAYFC are encouraging families and friends to have pens and paper at the ready to bring some of the fun of the show into their homes.

Lesley Cameron, Director of Marketing and Communications with QMS, commented: “The quiz is a great way to put your Highland Show knowledge to the test whilst involving all the family.

“With hosts Bryan and Robert bringing fun and competition into your living room, it is sure to be one not to be missed.”

Penny Montgomerie, Chief Executive of SAYFC, said: “We are positive that Robert  and Bryan will make highly entertaining hosts. We hope that our future, current and past members join in on Friday for some light-hearted fun with us.”

Participants will be encouraged to play along with the quiz and submit their answers by 9pm. The winner, chosen by QMS, will receive a £100 Scotch Beef Club voucher and a pair of tickets for the Royal Highland Show 2021.
