The team behind The Winter Droving Festival held in Penrith are currently seeking talent for 2021 festival, which is being held at the end of October.
The Winter Droving Festival have have had some awesome acts in years gone by – The Baghdaddies, Electric Swing Circus, K.O.G & The Zongo Brigade, Ponyland, Elaine Davidson, Beachmaster, Wearequasars, Bluejam, Dick Danger, Mary the Faerie, Paka and his mechanical horse, plus a host of jugglers, stilt-walkers, fire breathers, and street performers.
A Spokesperson for the Festival said “We are big fans of all things carnie; in articular we’re looking for acts that are bold, energetic, charismatic, and 100% fun. You need to be one-of-a-kind, out-of-the-ordinary with your own original material/act and a unique vibe.
We are especially interested in working with musicians, performers, and entertainers from underrepresented backgrounds including people from Black, Brown, Asian (South, East, Middle-East), LGBTQ+, and disabled communities. We are also dedicated to producing an event in which at least 50% of the performers are female or identify as female.
