Eden Festival Postponed for Second Year Running

In an announcement made via Facebook last-night, Organisers of Eden Festival held at Raehills near Moffat in Dumfries and Galloway, stated that due to the Covid-19 pandemic this years festival would not go ahead. But on a positive note a fantastic line-up for the festival in 2022 headlined by ‘Supergrass’ has been released.
The Statement said “As many of you may have now expected it is with great disappointment that we have to announce that Eden Festival 2021 will not be able to take place this year.
Over the past year, we have remained hopeful that, with the rollout of the vaccine we may see a return to the fields. However, with the festival now only 10 weeks away and with no set date for social distancing to be over in Scotland we are unable to continue to plan for June 2021. We have considered rescheduling the event later in the summer but we feel things are still too unpredictable and the best option for everyone would be to start planning for the 9th – 12th of June 2022.
All ticket holders should have already received an email with further details about rolling your ticket over or obtaining a refund. If you have any questions please email us at [email protected].
The Good News…
We were blown away by the support given by those of you who rolled over your tickets last year. We want to thank you by delivering the best line up yet in 2022. We are excited to be able to share the first line up announcement for 2022 – with a whole host of headline acts to follow.
Although this summer will see the return of some social mixing and possibly some events later in the year it has become apparent that large scale events and festivals may struggle to operate safely or even be allowed. Though disappointing, it does leave us counting down the days with excitement at the prospect of a huge celebration in the summer of 2022.
Thanks again for your continued support, stay safe and watch this space.
The Eden Team x”
