Free family activities are back at Annan Museum for the Tuesdays in school holidays. This time they have a Halloween theme, but exploring some of the traditions, folklore and stories rather than the modern commercialised celebrations.

Discover some of the amazing memento mori designs from kirkyards across Dumfries and Galloway and then carve their own miniature gravestone from a block of soap.
There will also be activity trails to follow around the museum and a chance to see the ‘Washed Away’ exhibition before the museum closes for winter at the end of the month.
The free activities run from 11am to 3pm, no need to book, just drop at any point during that time.
