Threave Gardens Presents a Fun-Filled Garden Show for All Ages

Get ready for a day of excitement and adventure at Threave Gardens’ upcoming Garden Show on Monday, May 1st, from 10 AM to 5 PM. This event is a must-attend for families, garden enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a fun day out.

Kids can have a blast with free activities, including nature trails, pond dipping, storytelling, face painting, and sowing sunflowers. Grown-ups can learn a thing or two from the garden team’s expert speakers presenting workshops on various plant-related topics like ‘Houseplant Hospital’ and ‘How to Keep Your Tools Sharp.’

Threave Garden Show is also proud to support local businesses, showcasing pottery, glass, silver jewellery, and cutlery art at the craft fair. And, for those who enjoy a good adventure, the Galloway Activity Centre will be present with a climbing wall!

Explore Kelton Hill Woods with Head Ranger Dave, take a stroll around the house, open from 11 AM to 4 PM, or admire the display of birds from Threave Garden presented by the flower ladies. Visitors can also join a tour led by a specialist sharing information on the medicinal properties of plants.

There’s something for everyone at Threave Garden Show, and there will be plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the day. Refuel with lunch or snacks from the newly refurbished café on the premises.

General admission is £5, and children under 16 enter for free. Don’t miss out on a day of fun and learning at Threave Gardens.
