Almost £5000 Raised For Charity at NFU Scotland Annual Dinner

Leading Scottish rural charities have shared almost £5,000 raised by those attending NFU Scotland’s annual dinner in Glasgow last week.

Donations on the evening raised almost £3800 and were shared between Scotland’s rural charity RSABI and the Royal Highland Educational Trust while the innovative use of a QR code on the menu – a first for NFU Scotland – saw a further £1000 raised, also to be shared evenly between the organisations.

Cheques from the cash sums raised on the evening were presented by NFU Scotland President Martin Kennedy to RHET Executive Officer Katrina Barclay and RSABI CEO Carol McLaren.
