Blackface Ewe Lambs Trade Slightly Improved – Wallets Marts

Wallets Marts Castle Douglas Limited on Monday 6^th September 2021 held their Annual Blackface Ewe lamb sale where 2248 were forward. 

Lambs were shown in great bloom and were a good steady trade throughout, showing a slight increase on the year, They sold to a top £172 twice, firstly from Messrs Paton, Craig, Straiton and then from Messrs Wallace, Fingland and averaged £101.87 (+ £2.93 for 274 more sold).
