Blackface Ewe Lambs Trade Slightly Improved – Wallets Marts

Wallets Marts Castle Douglas Limited on Monday 6th September 2021 held their Annual Blackface Ewe lamb sale where 2248 were forward. 

Lambs were shown in great bloom and were a good steady trade throughout, showing a slight increase on the year, They sold to a top £172 twice, firstly from Messrs Paton, Craig, Straiton and then from Messrs Wallace, Fingland and averaged £101.87 (+ £2.93 for 274 more sold).
