C&D Auction Marts Ltd had 10 Dairy Cattle at their Annual Christmas Show & Sale in Dumfries on Monday.
A Large ringside of active buyers ensured competition was brisk throughout.
The days top price of £1650 was achieved with a well balanced fresh calved 2nd Calver Holstein Friesain Cow from I Stewart & Co, Halldykes to John Maxwell, Netherwood.
Holstein Friesain Heifer M Young & Sons, Beuchan sold at £1600 to Rebecca Nelson, Longrigg.
A Norwegian Red x Holstein Friesain Heifer sold by IM & EA Burgoyne, Shenrick also made £1600 to Colin Mair, Townhead.
Fresh Calved Ayrshire Heifers from Beuchan, Keir then sold at £1500 to W Forrest, Hurkledale. Swiss Red Cow (2nd Calver) to £1500 Shenrick, Crocketford to Richard McDougal, Heathfield. Holstein Friesian (2nd Calver) cow from Halldykes, Lockerbie made £1500 to Colin Mair, Townhead.
