Lockerbie man Ryan Muir is once again trying to raise as much money as possible for the neo natal unit at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary by organising his second illuminated charity tractor and truck run on Saturday the 26th of November, starting in Lockerbie at 5.30pm and heading to Dumfries then on to Johnstonebridge and back to Lockerbie .

Ryam told DGWGO “My name is Ryan And I am a father of a premmie baby & premmie niece. My neice was born 15 years ago at 13 weeks early and my daughter was born 9 weeks early almost 7 years ago. Both had to be in the neonatal unit.
In this unit you have special equipment that costs thousands and thousands along with all the life saving medicines for our little warriors who spend their time in neo natal. Not only the specialist equipment and medications but the staff who go above and beyond to help our babies at same time giving us, the parents support and comfort at a hard time when it should just be magical.
My aim of doing this run is to say a massive thanks to all the neonatal angels ( nurses ) and raise money for much needed equipment, medicines and training & also to spread Christmas spirit and joy to as many as we can.
My aim is to have as many tractors and trucks as I can, covered in Christmas lights and tinsel making it unique. I hope to encourage as many people as possible to come out with their cameras and take pictures and videos.”
