First Milk appoints new non-executive Director

First Milk has announced today the appointment of Brian Mackie as a new non-executive Director to the First Milk Board.

Chairman Jim Paice commented:

“Our new CEO Mike Gallacher and his team are executing the turnaround plans as rapidly as possible. As we progress with this programme, it is also important for us to bring in the right leadership and business experience onto the Board. I am therefore delighted that Brian Mackie joined us on 15 June as a non-executive director. He brings significant financial, business and international leadership experience.”

Brian Mackie has previously worked as a chief financial officer with companies including Autobar, Starbev/Molson Coors Europe, Maxxium Worldwide and Cott Corporation over the last 25 years.

 

Brian Mackie originally trained as a Chartered Accountant in Scotland.
His role within First Milk also includes chairing of the Audit Committee.
