Wigtownshire NFU Scotland Secretary Received a long service award at wigtown Agricultural Show this week.
Well-known Wigtown man Ian Macpherson (pictured on the right) received a Long Service Award from NFU Scotland this week for 35 years as a group secretary for the NFU Scotland Wigtown office.
NFU Scotland’s Vice President Andrew McCornick (pictured left), who made the presentation to Ian at Wigtown Show on Wednesday, 5 August, commented: “Ian has done a tremendous job over the years helping out people in our industry through some difficult times, and in turn has earned a great deal of respect and friends along the way. We congratulate Ian on his milestone and look forward to continuing to work with him.”
