13 Ploughmen took part in the Old Luce Ploughing Society, annual ploughing match held at Dunragit on Saturday the 12th of November by kind permission of the McKie family. The weather was kind and the ploughing was of a very high standard.
The overall winner was Kenneth Collins, yellow boiler suit ( Pictured left) and blue Ford tractor, Reversible Winner Matthew Henry was in the John Deere. 2nd in Conventional was Alan Ramsay in the Case tractor, 2nd in Reversible was James McKie, Massey Ferguson tractor .
The Wigtownshire Open Ploughing Match is on December 10th at Culgrange Farm near Stranraer.
