RHET AND RSABI BENEFIT FROM MORE THAN £5,100 RAISED AT UNION’S ANNUAL DINNER

 

Two charities have benefited from £5,156, raised at NFU Scotland’s Annual Dinner held at the Fairmont Hotel, St Andrews on Monday 9 February 2015.

Following the dinner, guests gave donations, which were then split between RHET Fife and Lothians and RSABI.

A cheque for £2,578 was presented to CEO of RSABI, Nina Clancy and a similar amount given to Carole Brunton from RHET Fife on Tuesday, 10 February 2015.

Nina Clancy, RSABI commented:

“RSABI very much appreciates the ongoing support from NFU Scotland and its members. This money will make a real difference to people’s lives.

“RSABI is looking to substantially increase the number of people we help, and this money will assist in that aim.

Carole Brunton, Project Co-ordinator for RHET thanked everyone for their donations and said:

“We are delighted to receive this fantastic sum of money so RHET can continue to take the countryside to the classroom.”
