Wallets Marts Castle Douglas Limited on Saturday 24th September 2022 held their annual show and sale of Autumn born suckled calves and store cattle, where some 1405 cattle were forward. A fantastic show was on offer with a huge ringside of buyers in attendance. The trade was flying with many buyers leaving short of requirements.
Top today was £2000 and 387.6ppk for the champion British Blue Bullock from Messrs McCulloch, Glentoo.
Heifers sold to £1570 for Limousin Heifers from Messrs Agnew, Little Airies and 298.3ppk for Limousins from Messrs Barbour, Carsegowan.
