A show of 1188 prime lambs were forward to average 197.23 ppk (SQQ 201.45).
All classes were a sharper trade on the week and easily sold, with meat key at the moment, these were well short of requirements. Top today was £105 for heavy Texels from Tarbreoch, Kirkpatrick Durham, with top per kilo being 246 for outstanding Beltex lambs from Messrs Walker, Mindork, Kirkcowan.
A smaller show of ewes was again easily cashed topping at £130 for three outstanding Beltex ewes from Mosnae, Twynholm.
