All classes of hoggs were sharper to average 285.34 (SQQ 288.0). Well fleshed hoggs from 35.41 kgs were the trade of the day regularly selling over £3 pkg.
Top today was £162.50 for a pen of heavyweight Suffolks from Messrs Picken, Galtway, Kirkcudbright.
Cast sheep were also sharper selling to £193 for a Texel ram from Edgarton. Mule ewes sold to £125 from Edgarton with Blackface to £97 from Boreland of Girthon.
