Wallets Marts Castle Douglas Limited on Monday 13th September sold 1460 Store lambs and 110 Store and OTM Cattle.
Store lambs sold to a top of £104 for a pen of Suffolk Lambs from Glenkiln Farms.More could have been sold and please advise of any entries for our next sale on 27th September.
Store cattle sold to a top of £1180 for Saler bullocks from Glentoo and 233.8 ppk for Limousin bullocks twice from Messrs Allison, Ring of Barfad and from Messrs Locke, Park of Tongland.
OTM Cattle sold to £1314.80 for an Angus Cow from Messrs March and Loban, Muncraig and to 181ppk for a Limousin cow from Messrs Barr, Meikle Kirkland.

Top today was £108.50 for a heavy Texels from Messrs Clement, Borgue House and to 243.9ppk for Beltex lambs from Messrs Paterson, Mossnae.
Cast sheep sold to £175 for Beltex Ewes from Messrs Paterson, Mossnae with Scotch Mules to £113 from Messrs Fisher, Flathill and Blackface to £85 from Messrs Black, Crofts.
